Wrinkly bath fingers.

You know when you spend too long in the bath and your fingers go all wrinkly? Well can that stay permanently?

Now I ask that semi-seriously. And I'll tell you for why.

How often do you shower/bath/spend prolonged time in water?
Normally I would shower in the morning. Then I might need another shower after doing exercise or maybe I'll feel like a second shower before bed. So I'm a one shower (occasionally two shower) kind of guy. I take pride in my cleanliness but I don't take it too far.

Well I never used too! But it seems as though I currently spend more time in water than out of it and I appear to be showering all the time. I'm not exaggerating. Let me give you an example.

A couple of days ago I got up and had shower number one. I then cycled to work, got very sweaty on the way and so had shower number 2 when I arrived at the gym. Then I swam for an hour, followed by two hours of teaching - one and a half of which I spent in the water - and when I finally got out I had shower number 3 to try and get the chlorine off my skin. After some to eat I then did a lifeguard shift, at the end of which I had to clean the sauna. I therefore got very sweaty again and had shower number 4. Finally I cycled home, again getting very sweaty and had shower number 5 when I finally got in.

And that's not a particularly unusual day! On average I must have 4 or 5 showers a day. That's insane! Plus I must spend 12 plus hours a week in the pool swimming or teaching. I'm in the water all the time and so I'm genuinely wondering if at some point my skin is going to go all wrinkly and just stay that way? That's if I don't wash my skin off first :)
